home sweet home

we haven't written in a while but that doesn't mean we haven't been full of work and creativity. here we have the creator and head of design of ARTWALL Murales preparing his own home with sweet messages for the new baby his wife welcomed in July. as the creator of this company you can just imagine the over the top murals this little girl will be enjoying all of her life. keep following to see them and get your own inspiration for the special little child in your life!

bamboo

in Japanese culture, bamboo symbolizes strength of character. it is a flexible plant that will not snap easily and always stays firm. in murals, we are seeing that bamboo is also a strong choice. we have now designed several bamboo projects because of how flexible it is in that it it fits with a multitude of spaces. from gardens to stairways, choosing a bamboo themed mural can bring tranquility and strength to any business or home.

june was fabulous

this month has been exceptional for us here at ARTWALL, actually all of 2011 has been. we are so blessed to have worked with some crazy clients with outrageous ideas. creativity is what we love and this month we were able to combine our talents with the ideas and visions of some really fun people. so start to get your ideas flowing and then give us a call so we can make them a reality for you in your home or business!

2011 has been busy

here we have several of the projects we completed in 2011. at ARTWALL we are very happy because we have had the opportunity to work with dining rooms, offices, and hallways not just children's rooms which we also love and are still our strongest client. people are expanding their imagination and we have had the chance to paint ceilings, garden areas, offices, and bathrooms. in your home or business the limits are endless!

at ARTWALL we are a team of designers and painters so ideas and design are our strongest area. some clients come to us with a swatch of fabric or just a color and we go from there but this year we have been very fortunate to work with clients who are full of creativity and have really rolled up their sleeves to get in and help with the designing of their mural. these murals are all work which came from some of Mexico's most talented and all of us at ARTWALL feel so lucky to have been there to help capture their vision and make it a reality

learning institutions

working with schools and learning institutions are our favorite projects because this is when we really influence a child's experience. as they are absorbing new information and forming ideas of how the world is, our art is playing an important role in making everything a bit more magical. we feel that our murals help make a child feel like anything is possible and that learning and growing are fun experiences to look forward to. thank you to all of the schools who have let us work with them to help make the world a more imaginative place.

wallpaper

a new trend that we are working with this year is wallpaper, hand painted with custom-made design. this is an excellent option that brings consistency and uniformity to your space. with our team of designers we can discuss what your needs are and create a pattern that can cover just a section of  wall or stretch for meters to complete an entire space. as designers, this is always a fun project because it is a challenge for us and really requires our ultimate patience and skill. we have thousands of ideas or you can bring us any vintage print or image to use as inspiration.

the beach

Don't live by the beach? Neither do these clients of ours but with a hand-painted mural we can bring the beach to you just as we did for them. Having the tranquility of water, waves, and sea life in your home is something that can instantly take you on a mini-vacation even on a Monday morning when the work week has just started. What can we say, girls are the best! This year we  worked with so many precious little girls and everytime we finished a project we were given such warm beautiful feelings. Butterflies, flowers, princesses, and pink.... What's not to adore about little girls?

boys

Little girls are so fun to paint for; flowers, princesses and all that is pretty and pink. But this year we have also had the fortune to meet and work with some incredible little boys and actually sat down to talk with them to find out what they want. There is nothing like showing a three year old boy a project about outter space or robots and seeing his face light up. The little boys we have met this year have showed us what imagination is all about and I am excited to share with you all some of the projects we completed this year.

restaurants

as much as we love to create murals for kids and in homes, a close second is our love for working in restaurants. these murals are the ones that really reach out to so many people. to eat in a restaurant is to escape life for a bit and enjoy the company of friends or family. when we are given the opportunity to create in restaurants, bars, and cafes it is so much more of a challenge for us because we have to imagine how many people will feel about our design, not just one client or one family. here are a few examples from 2010 of restaurants around the city we have worked in.

kids and nature

There was a big trend in trees and flowers for kids this year. The majority of our clients who contracted us for children's murals were drawn towards our nature catalogue. We love this for kids because it is timeless. A child of 3-5 years can continue to enjoy a tree or flower scene well into their teens. Living in a big city can at times make it  difficult to get out to the country for a picnic or a trip around the lake. With our nature murals kids can feel the peace and balance nature gives us everyday.  What a way to balance a child who is growing up in this world of electronic toys and phones.
