don't know what to get Dad for Fathers Day or Grandma for her Birthday? a portrait of the family is a fun idea to capture the moment forever. since our muralists here are also fine art painters we have started to receive requests for these kinds of jobs and we are having so much fun with it. living in a digital world, a hand painted portrait is a lovely way to stop time and return to the simplicity of things.

a lovely tree

this little girls room is straight out of a magazine! we had so much fun on this project because it was yet another time when a mothers thought and creativity taught us a new lesson in art and how to love. so much care has gone into every detail of this room and we are so happy we were part of it!

step by step

many people ask us about how long a mural takes to complete and about what the process entails. since our murals are painted by hand, each step is done with care and love, attention paid to every detail and there is the opportunity for the client to get in and give opinions or make changes. to give a reference of times, the tree was completed in one 6 hour day and the trains, which run across the entire room, in two. this was a client's home who really showed us what it is like to love a child. she gave us her two boys actual train set that they love to play with and had us paint each car with each specific color and detail. for her darling little girl she had us incorporate the print from the blanket and pillow they cuddle in together. the end result, two very happy boys and a happy sister too!
